It is my pleasure to co-host this event and to welcome you, too, in Sankt Petri Church, one of the oldest buildings in Copenhagen.
Ambassador Avnon, thank you for your warm introductory words! From the moment I heard first about your excellent idea to bring the renown international Berlin Counterpoint Ensemble to Copenhagen, I was happy to participate in this wonderful project.
The Berlin Counterpoint Ensemble is an international ensemble. Music interconnects across borders and overcomes frontiers. Based on profound cooperation and trust, this orchestra produces the best sound when every single tone of every member is heard.
This intense and international cooperation shows us how music brings people together.
